Last night I had a dream that my twin sister and I were floating on a raft in this beautiful ravine, watching bald eagles and other birds fly while little fish were jumping out of the water, splashing our skin. It was so beautiful. Suddenly this little baby red fox jumped onto our raft and onto my shoulder. I was rubbing her little belly and she was hanging out with me like a best friend. A man showed up to take our picture and when I looked at the little red fox, she was waiting to plant a huge, human sounding kiss on my face. It was so adorable. I woke up laughing, literally.
Thanks dream-world, where-ever that came from, I needed it!

Aw, fox puppy!
...what *are* baby foxes called?
awe
cute
according to the Medicine Cards (I'm sure you've at least seen them)
fox is observing and knowing what's gonna happen next.
fox can camoflage (sp?) in the winter they match the snow with white fur.
That was such a cute little dream. I have been remembering my dreams too. The dream plane is such a great place.
Sweet. I'm glad you're getting some much needed love from the dream-world!
Foxes are such amazing, beautiful animals.
The Medicine Cards are amazing- if you're not familiar with them, you might want to check them out sometime.
(I think baby foxes are usually called kits or cubs.)
What medicine cards are they? I definitely want to check them out. This fox was really adorable. I keep smiling when I think of the dream!

The website is mildly cheesy in that 'left handed crystal waver' kind of way, but the cards (and accompanying literature) are absolutely fantastic. I found them at a local bookstore after using a friend's set for years, but I'm sure there are cheaper places online- the '99 version has more animals than the '88, but you can certainly just add animals in that you feel the need to.
I was gifted them by a friend in NOLA back in
'92.
She noticed that I see people's animals and work with animal medicine (noticing them as signs/ reminders and such). I've memorized the stories by now and just love having that in my memory/ data bank.
They have expanded and added a few more animal medicine stories in the new edition.
It is such a gentle deck and book. The stories are soothing, make sense, and give insight.
As tools go for accessing subconscious, they are lovely.
as stories go, they are lovely.
as wisdom goes, they are necessary.
(time to dust off the old book and deck)
