It is up to us to create a new paradigm in the future.<BR/><BR/>But in Shana Rose's comment, I saw something even more powerful, and I'm glad she said it.<BR/><BR/>I believe very strongly that we are all responsible for manifesting the reality we desire. Obviously, you cannot just manifest and *poof* the world is changed, but we can all make shifts in our own lives that have far reaching effects. <BR/><BR/>One way to affect such change is through wording. If you say "this happens and it will happen again because that is the way it is" you confirm that that is your desired reality. It's the same thing as criticizing yourself (hurtfully) when in fact you've been given an opportunity to learn something and make a higher choice in your life.<BR/><BR/>You can also get into the subtleties of language and the subconscious- your subconscious only responds to affirmations, and does not hear negations. (No is an affirmation but "not" is a negation) It responds better to the positive. <BR/><BR/>Look at the difference: <BR/><BR/>"I am not ugly" "I am not sick"<BR/><BR/>"I am beautiful" "I am healthy"<BR/><BR/>For a while, my partner had a very hurtful quality in that he would use double negatives, such as "If I didn't want to be with you, I wouldn't be here." It was only upon my calling to his attention how hurtful that was that he realized that his father had used that language as well. He was horrified to realize what he'd been saying. We all do it, but we can also make the choice to try to change that. <BR/><BR/>I didn't mean to go on and on, but hopefully it will be nice information for folks.
